Diploma Supplement Pilot Project - Australia

One of Australia’s obligations under the Lisbon Recognition Convention is to promote the widespread use of the Diploma Supplement. The Diploma Supplement is a document issued in addition to a testamur, which provides information to make a qualification more transparent internationally. Australia views the promotion of the Diploma Supplement as an important part of its long-term strategic approach to developing an improved international framework for the recognition of higher education qualifications. In particular, Australia would like to promote its possible future adoption in the Asia-Pacific region as a contribution to improving recognition procedures in the region.
